NEW LAW ON WASTE AND CONTAMINATED SOILS FOR A CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Here is a summary of some of the most important things ⚠️ :
– Application to all non-reusable packaging containing non-recycled plastic.
– 0.45/kg for the manufacturer/producer/importer, which is charged once in the chain when the final destination of the package cannot be proven.
– The export is exempt from the tax.
– If you move goods from a foreign subsidiary to another Spanish subsidiary of the same company, you are not exempt from the tax.
– The tax is subject to VAT.
– The tax agency will keep specific accounts for the same.
